Frequently Asked Questions

To reset your TronLink password:

  1. Open TronLink and click "Forgot Password" on the login screen
  2. Enter your recovery phrase (12-word backup phrase)
  3. Create a new strong password
  4. Confirm the new password
  5. Click "Reset Password" to complete the process

Note: Without your recovery phrase, password recovery is not possible.

Transactions can get stuck for several reasons:

  • Low energy/bandwidth: Your account may not have enough resources to process the transaction
  • Network congestion: High traffic periods can delay transactions
  • Insufficient TRX: You need at least 1 TRX to cover transaction fees
  • Smart contract issues: Problems with the dApp you're interacting with

Try increasing your energy/bandwidth or wait 5-10 minutes for the network to clear.

To enable 2FA in TronLink:

  1. Go to Settings > Security
  2. Select "Enable Two-Factor Authentication"
  3. Choose your preferred 2FA method (Google Authenticator or SMS)
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup
  5. Save your backup codes in a secure location

Tip: Google Authenticator is more secure than SMS verification.

Yes, you can attempt to cancel a pending transaction:

  1. Go to the transaction history in your TronLink wallet
  2. Find the pending transaction and click on it
  3. Select "Cancel Transaction" (if available)
  4. Confirm the cancellation

If the cancel option isn't available, you may need to:

  • Wait for the transaction to expire (usually within 24 hours)
  • Send a new transaction with the same nonce but higher gas fee
